Is Comcast Stealing Slides From 37Signals?
Probably not (unless the Signals have lapsed back into some long-abandoned client-work), but lately Comcast’s Web site and billboards are looking suspiciously like slides from a DHH or Jason Fried presentation. Inspiration or imitation? You decide.

I’d have to say no. Slides like 37signals creates is really nothing new. It goes hand in hand with their philosophies, but black background with large text using different colors isn’t really their invention or anyone else’s.
Whether or not they got the idea from 37signals, who knows - but the idea itself isn’t new or revolutionary.

This is a tongue-in-cheek humorous post, right? ;-) “Helvetica on black background” is hardly something you can “copy” :)
You’re using black text on a white background here.. you’re ripping off sooo many people ;-)

Heh, sorry for the confusion, guys. Yes, I was just kidding around… although I think you could argue that while the Signals didn’t invent this design style, they’ve done a lot to popularize it. Thanks for the comments.
